Group Management in Ubiqod

In the Ubiqod field tracking platform, Groups allow for the organization of tracker management. These groups serve two purposes:

  • To group trackers for better monitoring, for example, by organizing them by geographical area, by client, or by contract.
  • To grant access to a specific set of trackers to certain account users only.

A tracker can only be assigned to one group.

Creating a Group and Assigning Users

In the Groups menu, click on the Create button:

Note: The user’s general permissions apply. If a user has a reader role on the account, and a group of trackers is assigned to them, they will only be able to view the associated trackers without being able to modify them.

Assigning Trackers to a Group

Bulk Assignment

In the tracker menu, select the trackers you want to assign to a group, then click on the “Assign a group” button:

Select the group from the list, then click the Assign X trackers button.

Individual Assignment

You can also assign a tracker to a group individually by clicking on the tracker and selecting a group.
